Over the years I have witnessed the transformative power horses have on humans, bringing me to a clear vision of my work.
As a riding coach, what keeps me excited about my work is the deep joy I witness in my clients when respectful training of their horse brings profound positive changes in their own life, as a ripple effect.
For this to happen and the beauty of the horse to be preserved when ridden, nothing can be forced and humility will grow during the training process.
As a trainer, I help owners build a harmonious partnership with their horses through:
The development of a correct and functional seat
Progressive training of the horse rooted in the respect of his nature
and the importance of relaxation in the movement
A training timeframe guided by the respect of the horse´s nature
I value fluidity of movement as the greatest indicator of wellbeing and performance.
I see competition riding as a great opportunity to test the depth of our relationship with our horses, to have fun, enjoy an adventure together and to assess important aspects of the domesticated horse's wellbeing (such as physical and emotional fitness). Ribbons and medals matter, but maintaining the quality of our relationship with our horse, consistency in results and longevity are more essential to me.
